The Moorings 5000 is majestic on the water and idyllic for a bareboat yacht charter vacation. Artfully designed by world-renowned boat builders, Robertson & Caine, the spacious Moorings 5000 accommodates up to 12 guests.
This next-generation sailing catamaran features five en-suite guest cabins. It offers optimal onboard comfort and privacy, and its innovative zoned air-conditioning system allows each cabin personalized climate control.
The elevated lounge provides wraparound seating and sunbed for taking in 360-degree views. Unique among charter vessels, the lounging areas were specially designed to be safe to enjoy even while under sail. Come sunset, the alluring blue underwater lights add a touch of flair and fun.
In addition to the contemporary design details and expansive windows, the 5000 also includes a skylight, onboard water-maker, electric flush heads, and an inverter for powering electronic devices. The cockpit serves as an extended galley with electric grill and seating for up to 10. The yacht features four refrigerators and freezers for maximum storage.

Convertible Saloon This yacht has a convertible saloon, which offers sleeping arrangements for up to two guests. This is included in the maximum capacity listed for this yacht.
Forepeaks This yacht has one forepeak. The port forepeak is accessible only through a hatch from the top of the hull. It is large enough for one adult and includes mattress, air conditioning, electric outlet, 2 USB Ports, and a fire extinguisher. The port forepeak is included as a single berth in the maximum capacity of this yacht.
Skipper/Cook A hired skipper can use the forepeak in all destinations excluding the Bahamas where they will require an interior cabin. It is possible to pay a fee for a skipper to occupy the forepeak in the Bahamas but this is subject to availability. If an interior cabin is not being used as sleeping quarters for a guest then the skipper will take the interior cabin in all cases.
Greece and Seychelles This yacht model is restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 passengers in our Greece and Seychelles destinations.
Water maker This yacht is fitted with a water maker, please note you should use this as directed in your briefing, and never in shallow waters. The water maker is not considered essential equipment, and is not covered under The Moorings 4-hour commitment. If your water maker isn't working, there are locations within your cruising grounds where you can purchase water.
