Named ‘Best Charter Boat’ by Cruising World when it was first launched in 2017, the Moorings 4500 is a modern marvel on the water. And now, The Moorings is pleased to announce the latest version of this flagship sailing catamaran, the 4500L. Featuring the impeccable craftsmanship and stylings of yacht builder Robertson & Caine, this leading-edge sailing vessel comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests with four thoughtfully laid-out staterooms, each with its own en-suite bath.

The biggest advancement of this new yacht is the elevated lounge, with wraparound seating and sunbed which adds to the overall living space and maximizes the outdoor space onboard. This seating area flows easily into the raised helm station, allowing the Captain to have easy line-of-sight and be a part of the conversation with everyone on board, whether they are in the aft cockpit, or the elevated lounge.

To allow for maximum natural light, the Moorings 4500L boasts expansive windows and an overhead skylight. The saloon flows easily to outdoor spaces with an extended sliding door to the large, cushioned aft cockpit. Blue underwater lights offer the perfect amount of evening elegance and the onboard water maker is especially convenient for the modern charter guest. The elevated lounge with wraparound seating and sunbed is perfect for enjoying 360-degree views.

Convertible Saloon This yacht has a convertible saloon, which offers sleeping arrangements for up to two guests. This is included in the maximum capacity listed for this yacht.

Forepeaks This yacht has two forepeaks. The port forepeak is accessible only through a hatch from the top of the hull. It is large enough for one adult and includes mattress, air conditioning, electric outlet, 2 USB Ports, & a fire extinguisher. The starboard forepeak is also only accessible from a hatch on top of the hull and comes equipped with basin, electric head with dedicated holding tank, shower with curtain and automatic sump drain. The port forepeak is included as a single berth in the  maximum capacity of this yacht. 

Skipper/Cook A hired skipper can use the forepeak in all destinations excluding the Bahamas where they will require an interior cabin. It is possible to pay a fee for a skipper to occupy the forepeak in the Bahamas but this is subject to availability. If an interior cabin is not being used as sleeping quarters for a guest then the skipper will take the interior cabin in all cases. (*SKIPPER PACKAGE – BVI only: The skipper will have a fixed interior cabin and cannot be asked to use the forepeak cabin to allow for additional guests.)

Greece and Seychelles This yacht model is restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 passengers in our Greece and Seychelles destinations.

Gas/Charcoal Grill Grill will differ based on your chosen destination. Please note there is no grill included for Mediterranean bases.

Water maker This yacht is fitted with a water maker, please note you should use this as directed in your briefing, and never in shallow waters. The water maker is not considered essential equipment, and is not covered under The Moorings 4-hour commitment. If your water maker isn't working, there are locations within your cruising grounds where you can purchase water.
