The Happy Endings team, can’t wait to welcome you to the BVI
Set sail with Captain Cosy and Chef Janice on an unforgettable Caribbean vacation that will leave you refreshed and enriched with bellies full of good food and hearts full of fond memories.
Captain ‘Cosy’ is a passionate sailor who started sailing when he was 10 years old, racing sunfish, J24s, and Lasers in Rodney Bay Yacht Club in St. Lucia. His first job was as a Dockmaster at the Rodney Bay boatyard, moving on to crew aboard deliveries throughout the Caribbean and completing three Atlantic crossings as a Skipper. In a short order, Cosy completed his Yacht master in the UK. Returning to the Caribbean, he started working with the Moorings in the mid-1990s in the technical department. This was a great training ground to transition to a full-time Captain, enriching his mind to understand a vessel’s components intimately.
Cosy first sailed in the BVI as a Crewed Yacht Captain in 2005 aboard the 6200 Catamarans. Cosy is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable Captains in the Caribbean, covering crewed yacht charters aboard the 4800 & 5800 Catamaran in St. Lucia, sailing the Windwards, Leeward, as far as Martinique and Guadeloupe.
Janice has had a passion for food from a young age, learning from her mother; her activities growing up were always surrounded by cooking and food and helping in the kitchen. Some of her specialties include homemade sauces for meats and fish and vegetarian delicacies. Janice is famous for her specialty cakes and pastries. Janice started working on the water aboard day charters in 2000. These charters catered for 75-80 people daily for breakfast, lunches, and specialty sunset cruises in St. Lucia. After transitioning to weeklong charters, she quickly found her niche in high-end cuisine catering to all dietary needs and requests.
Captain Cosy and Chef Janice started sailing together in 2017 in St. Lucia before moving to the Bahamas and permanently relocating back to the BVI in 2023. They look forward to welcoming you aboard the 5800 Catamaran ‘HAPPY ENDINGS’!
