Charter Insurance
View our custom charter insurance policy here, which provides coverage for things like trip cancellation, interruption due to unforeseen events including accidental injury or illness, natural disaster, coverage for missed airline connections, and more. Plus, review additional, upgraded insurance plans where you can purchase additional coverage that suits you best, including policies that enable cancellation for any reason.
The Moorings recommends protecting your charter vacation with a travel insurance from our partner Redpoint Travel Insurance. Redpoint’s Harbor plan provides coverage for things like medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, flight accident, and other losses while traveling internationally or domestically.
This optional travel insurance must be purchased before your final payment.
Additional “CFAR” coverage is available via Redpoint too. CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) allows the insured to cancel their scheduled trip for personal reasons. CFAR upgrades must be purchased within 14 days of the initial deposit for your trip. Exclusions and limitations still apply.

Flex Protection Plan
If at the time of booking you purchased the Flex Protection Plan, see the below for details:
Our Flex Protection Plan enables you to change your trip destination or departure dates for any reason up to 56 days prior to your departure date and avoid change fees of up to $1,500 later.
This offer is subject to the following conditions:
- The new departure date must fall within 12 months of the original departure date.
- If the re-booked charter results in a price increase, the difference in price will be the charterer’s responsibility. If the re-booked charter results in a price decrease, no refund or credit will be provided.
- Changes must be made outside of 56 days prior to your departure date.
- The Flex Protection Plan fee is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Current pricing and discounts will be applied to the new departure dates.
- Flex Protection Plan can only be redeemed once per booking.
- Must have been purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added to an existing booking.
